Effective education of ceramicists cannot take place without cooperation with the industry and other scientific and research centers. Every year, our students - future engineers - go on internships and summer internships to various plants in Poland, as well as to universities in Germany, France, Switzerland and Finland.

Recently, it is also possible to obtain the so-called double diplomas, recognized in Poland and in the country where the defense took place. The Faculty's cooperation with industry has a long tradition and applies not only to the

ceramics and building materials industries, but also to the metal, energy and mining industries. The Faculty's cooperation with medical units (in the field of biomaterials) and institutions dealing with environmental protection is also fruitful.
We conduct advanced scientific research and implement innovative research and development projects in the area of broadly understood materials engineering, chemical technology, ceramics, nanoengineering and materials science.
Our research teams focus on developing and developing new materials and technologies for various industries. We work on each of the eight stages of the "life cycle" of materials:
This is possible thanks to:

We invite you to scientific and partnership cooperation with our faculty, where innovations and innovative approaches to material issues are the foundation of our research activities.
